Established in 1721, Hilltown Township (Bucks County, Pennsylvania) remained a farming community up until the end of World War II. Construction of large housing developments started at the end of the 1970s. The Hilltown Township tax assessments and checks, 1962-1992, consist primarily of various tax assessments, including real estate and occupation assessment roles and tax reports of the township, from the early to mid-1960s and the late 1980s to early 1990s. The collection also includes Hilltown Township General Tax Fund cancelled checks, check stubs, and bank account information, 1963-1966.
